Operation Valkyrie was the plot to kill Hitler and thus cause the SS, Gestapo and the SD, the three outlets of power that Hitler had over Germany. Unfortunately the plan failed and the four men involved in creating it were shot while the rest of their fellow conspirators were put in the concentration camps.
